Dr. Karin Kleinhans is an Executive Director and Partner at MRL Ventures Fund, where she focuses on investing in and building innovative life sciences companies. She brings more than a decade of experience across venture capital, intellectual property law, and translational medicine research, and provides strategic guidance to fast-growing, R&D-driven companies as they scale. Prior to joining MRL Ventures Fund, she was a Partner at EQT AB and previously at LSP, now EQT Life Sciences, where she led venture capital investments across Europe and the U.S. Earlier in her career, she worked in intellectual property law and conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for Stem Cell Ageing. Dr. Kleinhans received her PhD in Molecular Medicine from the International Graduate School in Molecular Medicine in Ulm.
